Singapore's Kareen Kaur signs with Evans GP as third driver for 2026 Southeast Asia Formula 4 Championship
Singapore’s first female Formula 4 driver joins Evans GP alongside Rafael Vaessen and Ben Nguyen
Evans GP has confirmed the signing of Singaporean driver Kareen Kaur as its third driver for the 2026 Southeast Asia Formula 4 Championship, further strengthening its driver lineup ahead of the new campaign.
Kaur joins previously announced drivers Rafael Vaessen and Ben Nguyen as part of the team’s expanding programme.
At just 15 years old, Kaur is already recognised as Singapore’s first female Formula 4 driver, marking an important milestone for motorsport development in Singapore and the wider Southeast Asian region.
She made her Formula 4 debut in 2025, competing in selected rounds of the F4 Indian Championship, where she gained valuable experience in a competitive field and secured multiple top-10 finishes. In addition, she made a one-off appearance in the Southeast Asia Formula 4 Championship at Sepang, giving her early exposure to the series and the circuit.
The 2026 campaign will mark her first full season of car racing, with a clear focus on gaining experience, building consistency, and continuing her development in single-seater machinery. The long-term objective is to prepare for progression into higher categories, including the all-female F1 Academy.
Kaur joins Evans GP at a time when the team continues to establish itself as a leading force in junior single-seater racing across Asia. The team’s structured development programme will support her transition, combining extensive track time with data analysis, simulator work, and driver coaching.
Further driver announcements will be made in the coming weeks as Evans GP finalises its lineup for the 2026 Southeast Asia Formula 4 Championship.
